B&Y Pest Control has been serving Albuquerque and the surrounding communities since 1984, when it was founded by Bob Stanich shortly after he earned his Biology degree from the University of Minnesota. From the beginning, Bob built the company on a foundation of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to doing the job right—no matter what.
Today, B&Y remains a proud family-owned business, now led by Bob’s son, Jesse Stanich. After years of working alongside his father and learning every facet of the business, Jesse has taken over ownership and continues to carry forward the values that made B&Y a trusted name in pest control.

With heavy hearts, we honor the life and legacy of Zion K. Stanich, who passed away after dedicating over three decades to B&Y Pest Control. Zion began working alongside his father, Bob, in 1990, and quickly became an essential part of our company’s heart and soul.
As our Lead Technician, Zion was not only an expert in his craft—trusted by countless families and businesses throughout Albuquerque—but also a kind and steady presence for everyone he met. He approached every job with care, every customer with respect, and every team member with encouragement.
To us, Zion was more than a colleague. He was family. His deep knowledge, hard work, and commitment helped shape what B&Y is today. He carried forward his father’s vision with pride and added his own strength and passion to everything he touched.
We will forever miss his laugh, his leadership, and his unwavering loyalty. Zion’s spirit will always be a part of B&Y, and his memory lives on in every home we serve.
